What do you learn at the NLP foundation course?

The following topics are covered in the NLP foundation course and are some of the most important NLP basics to discover, experience and adopt.

-NLP principles:
The list of the NLP principles is a crucial part in learning NLP and its techniques because they are the guidelines that makes NLP a beneficial experience for all parties. It is an essential stepping stone towards certification
.

-Personality map
:
This tool (also called the logical levels) helps us to understand what makes people tick and why they behave the way they do.

-Representational system
:
This session is focused on developing your senses and understanding how to use the different elements of the representational system, so your communication is more efficient and effective.

-Verbal preferences:
These help explain how communication can be misunderstood or misleading or just different.

-Non-verbal preferences:
These preferences look at how important the non verbal cues are in expressing part of our language such as eye accessing, tonality, pace, breathing and more.

-Submodalities:
An important part of NLP and is used across many NLP techniques, allowing you to control the intensity of the memory.

-Drivers and Blockers:
Look at what motivates you, what you believe in and what's important for you to drive you to do what you do. It also looks at what stops you.

-Thinking preferences
The thinking preferences is based on the ‘4-mat’ and gives you a simple, and easy way to understand the different learning styles and the different types of information that people need. It can also assist you in presenting your ideas and point of view in a manner that is more compelling.

-Rapport
You will discover the key elements of being in rapport to communicate efficiently and easily with one or more people.

-Strategies
You will examine what is the mechanism (or the range of mechanisms) behind a behaviour so you can chose to model it or to change it.

-Different perspectives
This technique and the technique called ‘the panel of experts’ are essential tools to help you with difficult people and situations, so you can react in the most beneficial way and be in control by knowing how to see events differently.

-Anchors
Anchors can be positive (you suddenly feel happy) or negative (you react angrily or feel frustrated). They can rule your life if you don't learn how to recognise them, understand them and deal with the unhelpful ones.

-Goal setting
The NLP Well-Formed Outcome is a must have in your tool kit. It is an efficient technique to check if you have the right goal, what it will take to achieve it and will give you all the elements to make it realistic, exciting and achievable.

-Stretch model
This model is a simple way to look at how you can easily make the most of your life by understanding the importance of stretching yourself versus staying in your comfort zone and the danger of falling in to your panic zone. Again, a great tool to use with others to maximise their experience without the problem of pushing too hard.

-And more...
Team interaction, feedback, future vision, active listening, conscious vs. competence and anything that might be appropriate for the group at the time.

At the end of the NLP foundation course, you will have learnt, experienced and built a set of tools that will help you:

- be more flexible in your approach and your behaviours
- be more in control of your own emotions and future
- be able to help people with their own situations
- be more efficient with your communication and with the responses you get
