What do you learn on the NLP practitioner course?
The following topics are covered in the NLP practitioner course and are recommended by the Professional Guild of NLP:
-The content of the NLP foundation course revisited and explored further:
NLP principles, Personality Map, Representational system, Verbal and non-verbal preferences, Submodalities, Drivers and blockers, Thinking preferences, Rapport, Strategies, Different perspectives, Anchors, Goal setting and Stretch model.
-Language model - The Meta Model:
The Meta model is one of the most powerful NLP models and helps you to qualify and to clarify the meaning of your statements and the beliefs behind your communication. it looks at information that has been distorted, generalised and, or, deleted. It’s also useful in detecting self beliefs that stop or limit you doing what you can do. The Meta Model is so important that it is a major topic for the two weeks.
-Language model - The Milton Model:
The Milton Model is a communication tool that can help you to influence and to persuade others (within the NLP principles) and to recognise it when used around you. It is based on the language of Hypnosis (Milton Erickson).
-Reframing:
Reframing is another powerful NLP concept that allows you to alter the initial perception of a situation by influencing how you or others have perceived the event. It can be used in many different instances, from dealing with a difficult situation or person to presenting your ideas to others.
Metaphors:
In NLP, the metaphors and analogies are an essential tool in delivering a message and are even more crucial when talking about a difficult subject. With metaphors and analogies your communication becomes more realistic, more appealing and more memorable.
-NLP Change techniques - Swish Pattern, The Fast Phobia Cure, New Behaviour Generator and Change Personal History:
These techniques are covered in the second week of the certification when you have started to demonstrate the NLP principles and approach. They are efficient techniques to help yourself and others.
-And more...
Team interaction, Time Line, Personal development, Self confidence & self esteem and anything that might be appropriate for the group at the time.
At the end of the NLP practitioner course, you will have learnt, experienced and built a set of tools that will allow you:
- be more confident about your abilities and your future
- be more in control of your own emotions and difficult situations
- help people change using NLP change techniques
- be more aware of the impact of your communication and others
- be aware of language patterns, different preferences and personal beliefs
- be able to help people qualify and have clarity in their thinking
